React Native Development Company cost in 2026: what you actually pay
How much does React Native development company cost?
A React Native build costs $17,500 or ₹11,20,000 at the small end and up to $70,000 or ₹46,40,000 for a multi-role app with offline sync, payments and native modules. Those are Eazyware's published figures. Store fees, test devices and a care plan sit on top of the build price.
A React Native build from an established development company costs $17,500 or ₹11,20,000 at the small end and up to $70,000 or ₹46,40,000 for a multi-role app with offline sync, payments and native modules. Those are Eazyware's published figures. Store fees, test devices and a monthly care plan sit on top of the build price.
This post takes that range apart. You will see which engineering work sits behind each tier, the running costs that quotes routinely omit, what pushes a React Native development company cost from the bottom of the range to the top, and how to read two quotes that differ by a factor of three.
What the build price is actually buying
A mobile app quote looks opaque because most of the cost is people-weeks, and people-weeks are invisible in a brochure. On a typical React Native engagement the effort splits roughly into five buckets: product and interface design, the app itself, the backend and API work the app needs, release engineering, and quality assurance across a device matrix.
The app code is rarely the largest bucket. A screen is a day or two. What consumes the calendar is state that has to survive a lost network, an API that was designed for a web client and now needs pagination and delta sync, a payments flow that must reconcile, and the fortnight nobody budgets for between a feature-complete build and a build that passes store review twice.
The shared-codebase saving is real but narrower than the pitch suggests. React Native lets one team ship both platforms from a single JavaScript codebase, as React Native's own documentation describes, and in our experience seventy to ninety per cent of product code is genuinely shared. The remainder is native: permissions, background behaviour, push, biometrics, deep links and anything that touches the camera or the filesystem in an unusual way. Budget for that remainder rather than assuming it away.
Quality assurance deserves its own line in your head. A web application is tested in three browsers. A mobile application is tested across two operating systems, four or five OS versions each, screen sizes from a small Android handset to a tablet, and network conditions from office fibre to a two-bar 4G signal in a basement. That matrix is why mobile QA typically consumes a fifth of the build rather than a tenth.
Three scope tiers and what each buys
Most enquiries land in one of three shapes. The figures below are Eazyware's published React Native mobile application development prices, and the whole range sits on the pricing page.
| Tier | What it includes | Price | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Focused app | One user role, five to eight screens, REST or GraphQL against an existing backend, push notifications, both stores | $17,500 or ₹11,20,000 | 6 to 8 weeks |
| Product app | Two or three roles, auth and SSO, payments, media upload, analytics, offline reads, OTA update channel | $30,000 to $45,000 or ₹19,00,000 to ₹29,00,000 | 10 to 14 weeks |
| Operations app | Offline-first writes with conflict resolution, background sync, maps and geofencing, native modules, device management | up to $70,000 or ₹46,40,000 | 14 to 20 weeks |
| Design, if not already done | Research, flows, a component library and a design system handover | $5,500 to $28,000 or ₹3,60,000 to ₹18,40,000 | Runs partly in parallel |
Design is listed separately because roughly half our clients arrive with it done. Where they do not, UI/UX design and development is scoped alongside the build rather than bolted on at the end.
The line items quotes leave out
These are not hidden in any sinister sense. They are simply not part of a development company's fee, and they still appear on your bill.
- Store accounts. Apple charges $99 a year for the Apple Developer Program; Google Play charges a one-time registration fee of $25. Trivial money, but the enrolment for a company account takes weeks if your legal entity details do not match.
- Test devices. A realistic matrix is four to six physical Android handsets across price points plus two iPhones. Emulators do not reproduce the memory pressure and camera behaviour that actually break apps.
- Backend and infrastructure. If the app needs new endpoints, that is API development and integration work from $7,000 or ₹4,40,000, and it is separate from the app fee.
- Third-party services. Push delivery, crash reporting, analytics, maps and SMS or WhatsApp messaging are usage-priced. Maps in particular can surprise a logistics app.
- Payment gateway fees. Percentage-of-transaction costs on cards and UPI, plus the engineering to reconcile them.
- App store commission. Digital goods sold inside the app attract platform commission. Physical goods and services generally do not.
- Care and maintenance. Operating system releases each autumn and spring break something. A dormant app is a decaying app.
We break these down further in the hidden costs of React Native projects.
What does it cost per month after launch?
Between $1,000 and $5,250 a month, or ₹68,000 to ₹3,40,000, depending on the cover you need. Our Essential plan at $1,000 or ₹68,000 covers business hours in IST with an eight-hour response and ten engineering hours a month, which suits an internal tool. Standard at $2,500 or ₹1,60,000 gives 24x5 cover, a four-hour response and twenty-five hours. Enterprise at $5,250 or ₹3,40,000 is 24x7 with a one-hour response, sixty hours and a named engineer, which is what a consumer app with a revenue line needs. The tiers are set out on the maintenance and support page.
Mobile maintenance is not optional in the way web maintenance sometimes is. Apple and Google both set minimum SDK targets that move annually, and an app that misses the deadline stops accepting updates. That alone justifies a plan.
One more running cost is worth naming: the release itself. Every feature you ship after launch goes through a build, a signing step, a staged rollout and a review queue. Teams that budget for development but not for release engineering discover that shipping a two-day change takes a week of calendar time, and they quietly stop shipping.
What moves you up the range
Offline behaviour
Offline reading is cheap: cache and show. Offline writing is expensive, because two people editing the same record on two handsets creates a conflict somebody has to resolve deterministically. This single decision can add four weeks. The trade-offs are covered in offline-first mobile apps and defined in the offline-first glossary entry.
Native modules
Bluetooth peripherals, barcode scanning at speed, background location, custom camera pipelines and SDKs that ship only for one platform all require native code and a developer who can write it on both. Each module is typically one to two weeks including testing.
Payments in India
UPI intent flows, saved cards under tokenisation rules, wallets, subscription mandates and reconciliation each add work, and the testing is slow because sandbox behaviour differs from production. We cover the landscape in payments in mobile apps in India.
Roles and permissions
A single-role app is one navigation tree. Three roles is three navigation trees, three permission sets and three times the QA surface, which is why role count predicts cost better than screen count.
When the honest answer is do not build this yet
A React Native development company will happily quote you. We sometimes tell people not to proceed, and three cases come up repeatedly.
If your product has no mobile-specific requirement, a responsive web application is cheaper to build and far cheaper to change, and full stack web development starts at $14,000 or ₹8,80,000. If your app is fundamentally one graphics-heavy or hardware-intensive experience, the cross-platform saving evaporates and native is the better buy; we compare the options in React Native vs Flutter vs native. And if you cannot yet name the one job a user opens the app to do, the cheapest possible next step is a discovery sprint, not a build.
There is a fourth case that is less about cost than about sequence. If the app is meant to replace a process your operations team has never written down, the app will encode a process nobody agrees on, and the change requests that follow will cost more than the original build. Map the process first, on paper, with the people who run it.
What a real engagement looks like
A last-mile logistics operator came to us needing a driver app that worked in basements and dead zones and a dispatch platform behind it. The driver app was an operations-tier build: offline writes, background sync, maps, and a device fleet nobody could be relied upon to update. The dispatch side was a separate web platform. That shape, an operations app plus a backend platform, is a two-line budget rather than one, and the engagement is described in the dispatch platform case study.
Reading two quotes that differ threefold
- Ask each vendor for the role count, not the screen count
- Ask whether offline means reading, writing, or both
- Ask who builds the API changes the app needs, and whether that is in the number
- Ask how many physical devices are in the QA matrix, and which
- Ask what happens if store review rejects the build twice
- Ask whether the price includes an OTA update channel and a release process you can run
- Ask what you receive on day one after handover: repository, signing keys, store accounts, documentation

Frequently asked questions
How much does a React Native app cost in India?
▾
Eazyware prices React Native builds from ₹11,20,000 to ₹46,40,000, invoiced in INR with GST for Indian clients. The lower end is a single-role app against an existing backend; the upper end covers offline-first writes, native modules and payments. Indian delivery is cheaper than US or UK equivalents for the same scope.
Is React Native cheaper than building two native apps?
▾
Usually, because seventy to ninety per cent of product code is shared across iOS and Android. The saving shrinks as native modules multiply. For an app dominated by hardware access, custom graphics or platform-specific interface conventions, two native builds can cost the same and perform better.
What is the ongoing cost of a React Native app after launch?

Plan for $1,000 to $5,250 a month, or ₹68,000 to ₹3,40,000, for a care plan, plus usage-priced third-party services such as push, maps and messaging. Annual operating system releases and moving store SDK requirements mean a mobile app needs maintenance even when no new features are requested.
